Understanding Monthly Cycles
Each month the Sun moves through a new zodiac sign, shifting the collective atmosphere and the area of life receiving cosmic emphasis.
In the Avestan framework, the monthly Moon cycle moves the second ancestral generation - your parental line and the emotional inheritance carried through your mother.
The Sun sign sets the overarching theme - from Aries initiative to Pisces surrender, each sign colors the collective mood.
The New Moon opens a window for beginnings; the Full Moon brings culminations. Your rising sign shapes which house is lit up.
Venus, Mars, Mercury, and the outer planets form angles to your chart, triggering life areas for love, ambition, and growth.
Always read for your Sun sign, Moon sign, and rising sign. Your Sun forecast describes external events and conscious direction; your Moon forecast reveals emotional undercurrents; your rising forecast maps the concrete houses being activated.
Drive, creativity, and expansion of self-expression.
Material matters, routine refinement, and building.
Communication, ideas, and social exchange.
Emotional processing, intuition, and soul insight.
The month's sky is an archetypal guide, not a fixed destiny. Astrology maps the terrain - you choose the path. Three layers shape the month: the solar season sets themes, the lunar cycle paces your energy, and planetary transits trigger specific life areas. Pair the collective forecast with your personal birth chart for the most accurate picture.
The sky above is computed for the calendar month shown. A monthly overview article is added at the start of each month; the sign forecasts are written for the year.
A yearly forecast is written for a sign. Your own chart dates this month against the seven generations behind you. Read the month from your chart →
