Deleting Your Horospire Account
You can permanently delete your Horospire account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This applies to every account, whether it was created on horospire.com or in the Horospire mobile app. Deletion takes effect immediately once you confirm it and cannot be undone: you are signed out everywhere and can no longer sign in. The permanent erasure of the underlying data then completes after a limited retention period, described below.
Delete From the Mobile App
- Open the You tab.
- Scroll to Danger zone.
- Choose Delete account and confirm.
Delete From the Website
- Sign in to your account on horospire.com.
- Open your Profile settings.
- Choose Delete Account, enter your password, and confirm.
If You Cannot Sign In
Email us at [email protected] from the email address the account is registered to and ask for the account to be deleted. We will verify the request and complete the deletion.
What Is Deleted and What We Must Keep
When you confirm deletion, your account is closed at once. You are signed out of every device, sign-in is disabled permanently, and your email address is released so it can be used again. Deletion then permanently removes your account, profile, birth data (yours and any relatives you entered), horoscope readings and analyses, journals and reflections, AI chat history, friend connections, family trees you own, and push-notification registrations.
The permanent removal completes after a retention period of up to 180 days from your request. During this period the closed account's data is kept in a locked state, accessible only to authorised staff, and is not used for any other purpose: you will receive no newsletters, notifications or other communications. We retain it for this limited time so that we can establish, exercise or defend legal claims, and investigate fraud or abuse connected to the account, should the need arise (Art. 17(3)(e) GDPR). When the period ends, or earlier if no review is needed, the data is permanently erased. If a legal claim, chargeback or abuse investigation involving the account is still open at that point, we keep it only until that matter is resolved.
Separately from that, billing and accounting records of payments you made survive deletion entirely: tax law obliges us to retain them for the statutory period (Art. 6(1)(c) and Art. 17(3)(b) GDPR). See our Privacy Policy for full retention details.
Active Subscriptions
- Subscriptions purchased on the website (Stripe) or through Google Play: we request cancellation automatically as part of the deletion.
- Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store: Apple does not allow us to cancel them for you. Cancel the subscription in your Apple ID subscription settings, otherwise Apple will keep billing you after the account is gone.
